yeah i was pretty mad after the loss today, but i've toned myself down. No need to attack others, because we are all here because we like one thing, and that is the redskins. Some of our opinions may differ, but no reason to attack others over it.
Not questioning your judgment as a moderator, but are these warnings really necessary? Let people get belligererent after a a loss - what's the harm in that? People will surely calm down over the course of the week, or even by tomorrow.
Thats right, that what this thread is for to discuss, if some people get crazy... it has to be better than sniper shooting at you

but let's keep the site civil. When people start calling other names they just end up looking immature and simply discredit themselves.
You mean like TO? :laughing-

I've been reading some of the threads and they appear way too hostile. A lot of people need to tone down their posts. I know we are all emotional and upset about the tough loss, but let's keep the site civil. When people start calling other names they just end up looking immature and simply discredit themselves.
I agree we can debate and call the players and coaches names but that's opinion and thats a good thing... but no need to call each other names or be un civil ..thats acting like eagles fans!!!!

It never hurts to throw a friendly reminder out there now and then. Emotions tend to run high after a loss and unfortunately not is all forgotten a day later or even a week later. People take things the wrong way all the time and discussions can get unnecesarily personal really quick, so we'd rather avoid situations like that entirely.

Losses like that dont make me mad, they make me depressed. Am I the only one who had trouble getting out of bed this morning? I was late to work because I stared at the wall in the shower for like 15 mins... And the Giants gave us such an opening...

You're not the only one. I felt super depressed today. It's like my week is ruined.

I was absolutely rabid yesterday. I offer no excuse for lashing out, I do apologize to SNIKS who bore the brunt.
To me there are few things worse than a loss like that and I still feel like we got hosed by the Refs (again).
SNIKS, I apologize.:embarrass

we do need to watch ourselves because somewhere along the way, come of our fans have turned them selves into the same thing that all eagle fans are, thet is classless

I'm with you, I didn't even go to work today, because I live in Texas, and I have to hear from those fucking Dallas Cow Bitches tommorrow, I hardley slept last night and since I dont have the priviledge of living in the D.C. area I get to watch the games every now and then or when there Televised all over, and I cant believe we didn't run one fucking zone.....in the last 3 min......:banghead:
