doxiechic12000 11-21-2005, 07:37 PM I was at the game yesterday also, and I had some pretty shitty seats (obstructed view) but still had a great time. I do have to say that I was in a boring area, nobody, and I mean nobody, was making any noise. People were chearing at the wrong times (when our offense was at the line), cricital Raider 3rd down and so many yards people were sitting quiet as a church mouse. It seemed that the only people doing any standing were the chicks constantly getting up and going to the bathroom to check their makeup or get beer (dont get in my way when I am trying to watch my team play, barbie doll time is meant for home). I love my Skins, and drive over 6 hours to watch them play as often as I can. I still have a sore throat today from all the cheering and yelling I was doing (nothing to do with my boyfriend as much as he wishes). I am proud to be a Redskins fan and love to show it.
Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-22-2005, 01:35 PM I attended the Packers-Vikings game yesterday and wow, what great fans Green Bay has. I hate to admit it, but their fans are much louder and interested in the game than Redskins fans. The Pack is 2-8, they had 15 rushing yards in the 4th quarter, and Brett threw two picks, yet the stadium was "packed" and the whole crowd was screaming on 3rd downs.
SmootSmack 11-22-2005, 01:39 PM The Packer have some of the best fans in any sport. It's pretty cool that the fans own the team
Daseal 11-22-2005, 02:05 PM sounds like you are a great fan
Can we please get over this? While I've often disagreed with CRT3, I enjoyed every debate we had and I find it foolish to question anyone's loyalty to a team that has been a perenial contender for the cellar of a poor division (up until this year) for quite some time. We're all fans and we have no reason to doubt anyone else here.
As far as standing up, I'll admit it gets somewhat annoying when someone directly in front of you blocks your view. As far as noise goes, unless you're really short on tact and spouting obscenities it's foolish for anyone to say anything. Regardless on if they're bringing a client to the game or anything else it is your right, and even your duty to make as much noise as you can, especially in critical situations. If you don't want to deal with noise, don't take a client to a sporting event. There's a reason home-field advantage means so much in the NFL.

Thank you... This was the point that I was trying to get across. I was cheering for the Skins (as loud as I could) I did not jump out of my seat for "no reason", the only times that I stood up where when people in front of me did, I did not scream obsenities (mostly just screamed "Come on Skins!"), I was not one of those obnoxious drunken fans falling all over the place. I was just a good fan doing my duty to give the skins a home field advantage, maybe if there were more like me, than the skins could have pulled the game out (thats a big maybe though).

Without a doubt, one of the most intelligent statements I have ever read on this board.
railcon56 11-22-2005, 05:02 PM Let me explain. I am typically the loudest in my general area. I am not afraid to voice my opinion to anybody around me. I am not the biggest guy and do not play the bully drunk, but I tell it like it is. I root and give high fives the whole nine yards. But I am still respectfull to those around me as I know they might be entertainning clients and would prefer that a few cuss words are not thrown out here and there. Fact is I typically bring my friends to the game as most of them have helped me with my current situation. This is my vice and I let loose but am still respectfull. Stop being such a selfish bastard and understand there are others around you.
P.S. Do they have a humidor room?
I love people like u ...thats why you go to a game imagine someone telling a fan to shut up during a football game...stay the hell home and watch it on tv if u want quiet.....12th man damn right yell loud and long on defense anyway.... you keep it up yell loud there was a fan with me i was singing hail to the redskins him and i were singing it loudly people looked at us like we were crazy we just sang louder
