Did you get the music thing handled yet? As far as backgrounds, there's a million places online that have the code, which you copy and paste into your profile. i think I used myspacepimper.com ...

If you want to add a music video seach on google for the song or artist and follow it with "myspace video code". I think VideoCodeZone.com - 20,000+ Music Video Codes For MySpace, Xanga or any blog and website (http://www.videocodezone.com) is on of the places where you can find them. Once you find the video (make sure it plays on the page that you are view, alot of them dont work) anyways copy the code listed below the video, and paste it under "edit profile", under "music". Here is an example of what the code looks like (this is for Notorius BIG Hypnotise:
