It's probably best to see if you can find some highlight's of him and see for yourself, I expected a lot less from the reviews I read a couple of week's ago, but when I saw the highlight's of him he looked real good to me.

Yes, I know that generally, too much weight may be given to 40 times, but that seems really high to me, not much faster than a D-Lineman. It says he catches well in traffic. He better, 'cause with that time, that's the only place he is gonna catch anything.

Note: I do like Chris Cooley. --- But, I have problem with giving away 2005_2nd_round draft pick. --- Soon, we will be scrambling and scraping for 2005 draft picks, just like this 2004 season. --- Does this mean we have to trade away our star players in 2005, just so that we can replenish our dwindling draft picks _?

i hope he does well to have earned such a trade to get him, but i personally would have rather held onto the pick next year, even though it won't be all that great of a pick, and try to work out something to get a player like Heath Miller of UVA in next years draft.

I was wondering something about the h-back position 2: is there a certain height the player should be, as in not too short but not too tall. cuz before this pick up i was thinking about the wr from va tech Ernest Wilford who has a solid te type frame of 6'3 and 220 lbs. has decent speed, very natural hands, very good blocker, and a 38 & 1/2 inch vertical.

you usually want them to be bigger than that. More of a fullback/te mold. That way they arent just receivers, in fact they should be primarily blockers but have that extra threat. If they are small, 220, 230ish then linebacks and dlinemen will have their way with them.. Cooley could be a great size for Gibbs system.

He was running a 4.74 on his pro day, which isn't bad for a guy weighing 262lbs. he also pressed 225lbs 22 times.
