| Re: Republican Mitch Daniels not running for president Huntsman will probably make a go it and they GOP establishment is already trying to draft governor Chris Christie and Congressman Paul Ryan to run. Good luck. More than anything this underscores the difficulty Republicans are now beginning to realize that beating Obama in 2012 will be no easy task. I think it came down to Daniels really not having the old fire in the belly. |

| Re: Republican Mitch Daniels not running for president Daniels didn't really have the religious zealotry that the GOP hardliners seem to find so appealing. It would have been great to see him get the nomination if for no other reason than to experience the sheer joy of watching Rush Limbaugh's head explode. |
