I'm a bit stunned no one is commenting on this. I've been waiting to see if anyone would. Maybe only some of us recall the 1980s and the Lockerbie bombing, among other things. This guy was as feared as any leader. But was soon forgotten with the "rise" of Saddam and Bin Laden.

So now in less than a year, Mubarak is overthrown and exiled, and Bin Laden and Gadhafi are dead. Unbelievable

Syria needs to be next.

Catching Qaddafy is a big moment not just for the Arab world but for the globe. It also is a huge moment for Libya, which has been marginalized by other countries, including Arab countries, for decades. Now Libyans can begin to join the mainstream of world culture and can have a democratic voice in their own affairs.

Another dictator gone. I hope that the revolutionaries are able to set up a representative government and not another dime store "revolutionary council" that is simply a front for another tribal oligarchical autocracy.

This is how you win against dictators. Turn their people against them and help them not invade their country and invest in trillion dollars and countless American lives for ungodly amount of years without any help.

Another victory notch for Obama and co. They managed to do what a lot of administrations couldn't do....Give it up!

It's amusing to see Americans become squeamish and bewildered when they hear Sharia Law. A few facts...a) Lybia is 97% Muslim, b) all Muslim countries have some sort of Sharia law. Obama doesn't have to do anything to turn the people against their oppressive dictator. To attempt to coerce people into such a natural thing is futile. What Obama did was to protect the people and aid them any possible way. Operation Odyssey Dawn, read about it. Obama brought the initial planning and the most muscle but you already know all of this right?

Seems like pretty simple stuff. Some of which was talked about in the article.
