I saw this article mentioned by SS' nemesis Adam Schefter...

I meant to the magnitude of this case.

How can man be so evil? I feel awful after I yell at Comcast for screwing up my cable and these monsters walk around destroying other people, children at that!

Sickening. I don't feel like I can adequately describe how ****ing sick that is. Every single one of those pricks involved in this need to burn in hell.

McQueary will coach on Saturday. Bradley says it will be decided later where McQueary will be during game

He should be hanging from a flag pole outside the stadium.

Head scratching to say the least.

I agree completely. When I read about that I was like, wtf are they rioting for? Do they support child molestation? Penn State never had a reputation for being one of the smartest schools in the country, but how are you gonna riot in support of a guy who stood by and did nothing while this sick perverted rapist was abusing kids in the school facilities. Idiots, all of them.

A good interview with Mark Madden who has been covering this Grand Jury for 2 years now.

That link made my heart skip, I was thinking the Celtics were wrapped up in this some how!

President Emmerts statement on Penn State - NCAA.org

Not that this means much, but a statement from the NCAA. Not sure what they could really do since NCAA infractions weren't broken.

No rule from the NCAA that says you can't do criminal activities on school grounds? No rule from the NCAA that says if members of your football team conspire to cover up criminal activities that transpired on school grounds, they should be punished accordingly?

Honestly, I don't think the football players on the team deserve to be punished for their coach's transgressions, but punishment in some form needs to be served to those involved.

Seems kind of strange that Sandusky would all of a sudden retire and never coach again at the age of 55. If that doesn't smell of cover then I don't know what does.

One of the first things i thought when i first heard that sandusky was caught and not prosecuted back in 1999 was what the hell was the DA thinking and that the DA needs to lose his job asap. At a minimum you bring charges against someone you think is a pedophile even if you dont think you can get a conviction for whatever reason. After reading this article about the DA and hearing the rumors of sandusky pimping out kids i dont know what to think what else could have been going on . I mean the investigation started more than 2 years ago in secrecy and you have to think that investigators would follow up on any rumor no matter how slight in order to bust a child sex ring or other pedophiles. But you have MASSIVE cover up at PSU and The Second Mile and even at the DAís office. You have to think a lot of these people where either paid off with money or jobs, or were pedophiles themselves. Also the families of these kids were probably bought too.

heres a link to the GJ findings, read the last couple pages and didnt see it.

criminal penalties for child rapists need to be greatly enhanced. guys are getting 2, 3 maybe 10 years for repeatedly raping a child . . . 80s it was a slap on the wrist, 2011 its better but not where it needs to be . .

The way PSU fans are acting is completely shocking. What the hell are they thinking? I was a psyc minor and a major focus in a class I took was about our willingness to look the other way, with the rise of the nazis always used as the perfect example. You have all these people in power at PSU, The Second Mile and DAís office looking the other way and covering things up for something they all know is wrong, most likely because it will tarnish reputations and bring down their organizations. Then you have average joes, like the wrestling coach at the hs, the grad assistant, the janitor and the families of these kids all looking the other way maybe because they were bought off, but also because the attitude of looking the other way is coming from the guidance of the people in power. And now you have PSU kids and fans reaffirming their faith in PSU and supporting Paterno even with knowledge of what he did, or didnít do in his case. Students, alumni and fans are able to rationalize their support because even though Paterno and PSU allowed some horrible things to happen, overall Paterno and PSU have been beneficial to their lives and community, and they have a vested interest that Paterno and PSU retain a positive image. From the actual assaults, to the cover up, to other rumors and mysteries, and to the behavior of PSU fans everything is just sickening.

Serisouly. And what kind of judge can let Sandusky out on 100k bond, in light of everything we know??? Even if its just to protect Sandusky from himself, whats the likelyhood that Sandusky isnt going to hurt or kill himself?
