NYG at Redskins Highlights

I'm really sorry for neglecting my duties as highlight maker. I went from owning 1 retail store in 2005 to owning 3 in 2006. Because of that I was working 12-15 hours days every day for 2 months up until xmas... I'm working on getting the backlog of highlights done and I hope to have them all up soon. Next year I won't be as busy as my new stores will be more organized and require less attention...

NYG at Redskins 2006

I am missing the Eagles @ Redskins game, so if anyone has it, I'd be most appreciative to get it...

At about 3:06 in the highlights, check out Madison laying down for Randy Thomas. While I didn't like the commentators at all, it was hilarious what they said about this play and how Madison was like "No thank you." to Thomas barreling at him.

And at 4:12, watch him stiff arm our boy Pierce.

Re: NYG at Redskins Highlights

Man the offense seemed like it was having fun in the second half, when they just as easily could've mailed it in given that it was the last game of the season and we were down 3 scores. That was great to watch!

Now, if we could just fix the problems on defense. Knowing our luck, the defense will be stellar next year, and the offense will regress as we continue to implement the remaining 80% of Saunders' playbook, resulting in a losing season. The year after that, both offense and defense will be spectacular and we will have to blame Danny Smith and poor special teams play for our losing season. Frustrating to be a skins fan these days. Can't wait till draft day!

Re: NYG at Redskins Highlights

OH SHIT! Look at the end with Sellers wide open touchdown.

WHERE WAS THAT PLAY ALL SEASON!?!?

I can think of at least 3-4 instances of the Skins getting stopped on the goal line where last year they ran that play and it worked EVERY TIME.

Campbell was really firing it around in the 2nd half. You could tell he really found his groove.

Re: NYG at Redskins Highlights

It's exciting to hear how excited HE is about the offseason and working with each of the receivers to get better. If anything, I don't want to blame the Skins woes next year on the QB position, it's nice for a change.

Re: NYG at Redskins Highlights

I know Betts has a fumbling problem, but man does he have great hands as a receiver! That TD he caught from Campbell - maybe 2 (if that) other backs in the league could have made that catch.

Campbell has developed that throw nicely (the one where he throws the low ball into the endzone where only his guy has a shot at catching the ball - think Elway when he threw the TD pass on the "Drive"). He did it with ARE in one of the previous games as well.

Hell yeah it did! Every time too...everytime we even thought about that PA Rollout left TD pass to tight end or Mr. Sellers, it appeared. I think that play gets shoved into the lineup of things to do next year.
