Re: Redskins at TB highlights and lowlights

To add insult to injury, Dan Patrick just said on his radio show that the Redskins loss at Tampa was extra tough to swallow "because I don't think Alstott got it."

He also hit on a good point: If the Skins don't win the division, they'll be in the big wildcard pile at the end of the season, and that's not the best place to be.

All right, then. Dan Patrick is off my listen-to list. Down here in Atlanta, we have Chris Mortensen, who seems to know what he's talking about. I'll listen for what he says about the devastating loss.
We better be up for this weekend's game against the Raiders, and we better get a damned sack or five.

Damn that was a lot of big plays who would have thought we would have lost. It is so hard to swallow. I have heard that two point conversion announcement so much today I had to turn the damn radio of.

Re: Redskins at TB highlights and lowlights

Thanks much for the highlights.
There was alot of great things happening for us in that game. Our RB's looked smarter and followed their blocks and had great YAC. Betts beating Brooks for a TD was great as was Portis pushing Bucs safety Jermaine Phillips off to continue running downfield. Saleve'a looked awesome most every play of the game. We'll see a much different defense this Sunday and a decisive win over 'ol turkey neck'.

Re: Redskins at TB highlights and lowlights

Had to look at it again, what a dominate offensive performance. They look so good outside the three turnovers. Wow, is all I have to say it is just fun to watch them play this year, just wish the D was matching a little of what they did last year. Not a whole lot of Defensive highlights this year. If we get this type of performance from our offense and step up from our D hopefuly we can go on this 4 game stretch undefeated and head into the Division games with 4 losses. Very possible glad we are playing San Diego at home and not on the road.
