| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter Im a little worried about our red zone touchdown production as far as size, but that's about it. Lloyd has the hops to get a lot of balls over DBs. Hopefully Portis will turn into Priest Holmes -- Hop the pile!

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter sellers and cooley in the redzone. Lloyd can jump like bullet out of a gun anyways.

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter Sellers and Cooley combined for 14 TD catches last year, I'd say that's pretty good big guy production. |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter First off, Cooley, Sellers, and Fauria are our red zone threats. Second, the Smurfs did just fine. Also, do we really need a big wideout when Moss and Randle El are scoring on 50 yard bombs? |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter I thought we ranked pretty high last year in red zone scoring. I do not know where to find the stat so if anyone can find please post it would be interesting to see. |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter here, in the red zone... sean taylor on one side, lloyd on the other (40+ int verts), cooley as the TE (great at finding holes in coverage)... sellers in the backfield as a blocker or power back, and portis for your speed back (that can break tackles, jump over a pile, and catch a quick pass).

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter our red zone scoring wasn't great in gibbs first year, but if was near the top of the league this last year. We didn't have to kick many field goals.

We can also add Christian Fauria to the mix, good red zone target | |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter If you want to know well our redzone offense was last year just try to think back to the 18 games they played. Whenever they were in the redzone did you feel they were adequate enough to score? My feeling is that they had the weapons to get in. I remember feeling confident that we would score on any given redzone opportunity. As someone already pointed out Cooley and Sellers did a great job getting in the endzone. Another stat related question would be knowing how many 20+ yard TD plays did we have? I definitely can think of two such TD!!! |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter Didn't we have something like 12 TDs in our last 12 red zone attempts last year?

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter Our problem was more "getting started" than "finishing". It seemed like the Skins had trouble getting past the 50 yrd line at times, but once they got on the otherside, they always seemed to get something out of the drive and like many have mentioned, more often than not it was a TD, not a FG. |

| Re: Smallish WRs out to show size doesn't matter jump balls scare me anyway. were not playing 500 here in the redzone. if the receivers/tight ends can generate separation that would be a bonus. I am trying to think of the chiefs red zone offense and trying to mix it with ours. What i come up with is a run heavy red zone team with a little play action to the tight ends and fullbacks. save the fast receivers for what they are really good at, using their speed in the open field to generate separation. Those type of plays form well before the red zone.
