Search the CTC NFL tickets marketplace for Redskins tickets, cheap Jets tickets, Packers tickets, sold out Steelers tickets, Chiefs tickets and premium Giants tickets. We also carry Nationals tickets, Washington Capitals tickets and Washington Wizards tickets.

NFL Network is great during the season but ESPN has the draft locked up for now.
For now being the key word.

ESPN's Quinn and Moss coverage was simply over the top and unbearable

ESPN Vs NFL Network Draft Coverage

I personally hate how Berman tries to sound smart by 'predicting' the pick right as the commissioner goes the podium.

I can't stand him anymore. I think I'm making the switch to NFL network this year.

Which network do you prefer?

The whole thing is over kill in my opinion. It's just drama. Who cares if Brady Quinn's girl is with him on draft and what she has on? It's just turned into a big production. That being said, I'm glad the NFL has decided to shorten the time between rounds and only televise the first two.

I think that this thread needs to be merged if I am not mistaken. If I am making a mistake forgive me.

With this one

Edit: Personally I prefer NFL Network, but I will flip back and forth between the 2 just for the information. It doesn't matter to me who is presenting it. I could not stand the Def Poetry Jam they did on NFL Network for the draft last year though. Whenever they showed that or went to a commercial, I went right over to ESPN.

His slurred speech used to drive me crazy. It reminded me of my high school position coach. Since last year he has begun to grow on me. I think that it all started when he and Adam Schefter got into that heated discussion over Randy Moss at last years draft.

Re: ESPN vs NFL Network Draft Coverage

I like ESPN's coverage solely because they have Mel Kiper. His conviction and passion when he provides player analysis is very infectious. Mel might not always be right, but he certainly appears to believe that he is. Lastly, kudos to any guy who can make a career out of focusing on this one day each year.

Mel Kiper is like some sort of Rain Man. It's amazing how he takes no notes.

What's really crazy is when he talks about other sports. He's actually pretty knowledgable in several sports.

Re: ESPN vs NFL Network Draft Coverage

The Skins should hire mel kiper to help out with the draft and then give him some other bs publicist position for the rest of the year. How much do you think it would take for him to be exclusive?

3 times what he is making now, private use of Redskin 1, Snyders 1st born son, and a Chris Cooley autographed Jersey.

Re: ESPN vs NFL Network Draft Coverage

Name the person that said the (paraphrased) quote below and bonus if you remember who the player drafted was.

"Who the hell is Mel Kiper? Has he ever put on a jockstrap before?"
