| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft OFFENSIVE LINE! We really tend to fall apart when we lose a starter. While GW seems to keep things together when we are short on the defensive side of the ball. We also really need a running back.....portis looks slower every year, and betts just isnt a starter in my opinion. If we are gonna play "redskins football" we must address o-line and RB.

| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft There are alot of running backs out there and the most suited for "Redskins Football" so to speak would have to be Rashard Mendenhall out of Illinois, but seriously Wide Reciever is a more pressing issue than the running back position is.

| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft i'm not up on campbell... i think harvey is a much better player, or kenny for miami might make a difference immediately too. ghoulston is the crazy beast of the draft. too bad we can't get him.

| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft Did you guys know that we have a 6'5 235 pound wideout who runs a 4.51 40...... And he never got a single rep on offense. But McCardell came on the team and played on day 1. Maybe this new coach might be a benefit in the fact that there'll probably be open competition for almost every position. ARE could be like Wes Welker in the slot. SI.com - 2006 NFL Draft - Anthony Mix |

| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft Since Spagnolo is going to be our next head coach we need to get DE like he had in New York.

| Re: Top priority for the 2008 draft I agree 100% . A DE that can play 3 downs and put pressure on the QB will make a the D much better . I think we could use a starter on the OL , we can't seem to ever make 3rd/4th and 1 . CB , Rogers and Springs are not sure things at the moment .If you hire Fassell and run the west coast ,,, we need 2 back up QB's , I doubt Collins would stay . |
