| Re: Is there a Hester in the '08 draft? HE's not Hester, but Eddie Royal of Va. Tech might be the next ARE. He's a good punt returner & slot reciever. Projected no higher than the 3rd round at this point. |

| Re: Is there a Hester in the '08 draft? Hester is the best return man ever. There are no Hester's in thsi draft or in any other draft for that matter. I think trying to find one would be a bad idea. You still need to find someone who contribute somewhere else first then returns second. |

| Re: Is there a Hester in the '08 draft? Chris Johnson im tellin you... ive had the opportunity to watch this guy the past couple years...definately similar speed to hester, and a much better all around offensive player (catching, blocking, ect). If this kid went to the likes of the U he would be a sure 1st rounder. the kid had one of the highest, if not the highest, average of all purpose yards per game, just watch the highlights from the boise st/ecu bowl game and tell me he doesnt have the ability to break loose every time he touches the ball |

| Re: Is there a Hester in the '08 draft? Jayson Foster!! Won the 1-aa Payton award @ Georgia southern. hes alot like Johnson (who is also a beast) runs in the 4.2's he is smaller 5'7" 170lbs but (no link) reprtedly is crazy strong for someone his size (350 bench 550 squat) was used often as a option QB so he can take a hit from a big guy... but he is super elusive and has great anticipation i would use a later 3rd on the guy but since we have more pressing needs and no 4th he would be a STEAL in 5-6 YouTube - Jayson Foster 4 Payton Ive wanted to start a thread on him since not alot of people know about him, but decided that it would come up sooner or later! Chris Johnson: YouTube - ECU's Chris Johnson Highlights: This is what 4.2 looks like

the more I think about it the more I'd love to see Royal w/the Skins. I know he's only 5'10, but I could see him filling in for moss on the outside or ARE in the slot & returning punts/playing coverage on spec. teams. I'd also love to see one of our other hokie wideouts here, Morgan or Harper. They're both big late round guys & might be worth a look if they really want to boost the competition for those last wr spots. | |
