| Re: Compensatory picks are in I would still love it if they could swing a deal w/Atl. to pick up 2 2nd rounders for our 1st. That would be 10 picks w/5 in the first 3 rounds. |

| Re: Compensatory picks are in We have a second round pick, but no 4th. The extra 3rd round pick is great news. |

| Re: Compensatory picks are in Let's hope we do a little better than the last time we had this many picks: 2002 1(32) Patrick Ramsey 2(56) Ladell Betts 3(79) Rashad Bauman (CB) 3(87) Cliff Russell (WR) 5(159) Andre Lott (DB) 5(160) Robert Royal 6(192) Reggie Coleman (OT) 7(230) Jeff Grau (TE) 7(234) Greg Scott - (DE) 7(257) Rock Cartwright Since the 7 round draft began in 1994, we have had: '94: 7 Picks, 4 in the first three rounds - 7(4) 95: 8 (3) 96: 6 (1) (The one high pick was Andre Johnson - Blecchh)(A Cerrato pick) 97: 8 (3) 98: 7 (2) - No First Rounder 99: 6 (2) 00: 8 (3) - Two First Rounders (Arrington, Samuels) 01: 5 (2) 02: 10(4) - See above 03: 3(2) - No First (T. Jacobs, D. Dockery, G. Hamdan) 04: 4(2) - (Cooley, Taylor) 05: 6(2) - Two Firsts (Rogers Campbell) 06: 6(1) - No First (McIntosh in the 2nd) 07: 5(1) I hope we can get some good hits early. I don't know though - we haven't been overwhelmingly successful in the 2-3 rounds.

Honestly though, a third round draft pick is nothing to sneeze at. That should be a good spot. | |

| Re: Compensatory picks are in Nice bonus. That extra third rounder could be very helpful. I think you can get something really good with that pick. And I'm not frowning on the extras in the seventh either. SWEET!

| Re: Compensatory picks are in This is exceptionally good news. Take it with a grain of salt though. We essentially got the top choice in the 4th round. The 7th rounders would have been undrafted. Of course there is always an advantage with a pick vs undrafted though these folks are unlikely to stick. It is entirely possible to get a starter with the high pick though! That is wonderful!!
