| Fred Davis is growing on me! I absolutely hated the pick when it was made, and I still think we could have gotten a more important player with his pick. That said -- what if Cooley goes down, we now have a great backup. If Cooley were to go down it would be terrible for our offense. The two of them can also cause massive headaches for defensive coordinators to matchup against.

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! I'm not even thinking about what if Cooley goes down, I'm thinking of how versatile we can be now with Cooley and the TEs. We can line them up all over and create some serious matchup issues. There's nothing wrong with having two capable TEs especially if that's what the offensive schemes call for. |

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! Good pick from where I sit. It was a "best player available" pick, and I can't ever fault that. This allows pretty much the most beefy and kick-ass Red Zone formation: 3 TE (Davis, Cooley, Zo Alexander for blocking) 1 FB (Sellers) 1 RB (Portis) Most teams would see that and immediately think run. But every single guy in that formation is a serious receiving threat, and they fly under the radar in that regard. Plus that formation could smash some serious face!

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! It's obvious that they're going to try really hard to create mismatches, like if the big guys are having a hard time getting open they'll send in the smurfs. If the smurfs are getting jammed they'll send in the big guys. Our Recievers will also be in great shape should we make the playoffs, its just that our line could be in equally bad shape. I also wonder if they'll send ARE to return punts now full-time

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! It may be very hard to help the o line or the d line with a very late 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and no 5th! We also need a 3rd QB and S help alond with a CB or LB. A lot to look for with almost the hole 3rd round done picking be for we pick! Two WR and a TE many be more then we could afford! |

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! That video is so good it convinced me there's no way we can lose with Malcolm Kelly on our side. Those girls had so many convincing arguments, I'd say the one that persuaded me the most was when they said that he's so fly.

| Re: Fred Davis is growing on me! This is cool, from th WP Davis said he has studied Cooley ("I watch him a lot, that's one of my favorite tight ends to watch, No. 47," Davis said)
