| Re: Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft? If we trade down we'll be at 20 or 21 (very unlikely we trade w/ Eagles but u never know) and we could still get an immediate starter because guys are falling in projection. Rey Maluauga is an example as his combine was lousy and evidently he runs the 40 like a DT... he may well be there at 20 or 21. Andre Smith may fall that far and I'll take him in a heartbeat and put him at RT over Jansen/Heyer any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I think what's most important about trading down is that we get the second pick in the second round to have the best shot at coming out of this draft w/ two starters (hopefully RT and OLB). If it's necessary to package our first and last pick to get 1st and 2nd rounders i'm ok w/ that actually as we have 4 picks either way but a 2nd rounder is much more ready to make an impact than a 7th(?) rounder. ... I think Maluauga at 20, the best RT available to us for the 2nd round pick and a guy like Sidbury in the 3rd would be a best case scenario...

Episode? Uh-Oh, where are all the "character issue" bloggers? I don't even know what he's done and can see the moral majority will want to pass. I mean if we should pass on Randy Moss, CJ, Bolden, Hall (even though we took him) and Haynesworth, then clearly we need to pass on Smith who is a college kid who has not proven he can play in the NFL.

No, I watched them talking about it on the NFL network and the lame excuse of how he got confused with Sat. Perhaps I'm missing something but I'm sure players were all brought in around the same time and had a meeting the night before....ie; Thursday. Then Friday they did the physicals, and bench press, and some meeting with teams. I would think each player would have gotten a schedule as to what they were doing and when they had to be there to include wake up and breakfast. Simply put he only weighed in 50 pounds lighter then his pro day which showed he has been working out but clearly he might have been worried he had not worked out enough to impress the media or teams so he conveniently becomes absent so he can work out on his own scheduled day in the future when he's ready. Well it's not clear but his lame excuse shows he's either not the brightes crayon in the box or he's trying to cover his lack of being in shape. If I were him I would have simply stated my focus has been on my academics and I have not had time to prepare. I will test on another day. Atleast then it would not look like he is ignorant and can't follow directions.

| Re: Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft? He didn't work out - SBXVII is mistaken. He announced he was waiting until his pro-day to work out becuase he's "not in shape." That was the part that bothered me. The most important job interview of your life and you purposely decide to show up unprepared.

| Re: Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft? I like the oracles prophecy, we must have an OT and I keep hearing Duke Robinson's name on this board, but have yet to see it crack any of scout inc's top 32. Am I blind or just stupid that I haven't heard much about him/seen him play??????? Anyone hear that the Skins are trying to unload Horton for a high pick, interesting!

| Re: Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft? If we do trade down for extra picks, I wouldn't mind picking up Kory Sheets in the middle rounds somewhere. He could be the change-of-pace we want to compliment CP, and he's a return guy. Plus everyday it's looking more and more like we're gonna make a few serious FA moves along the O and D lines, which could allow us to spend a mid-round pick on RB. From Yahoo: The Good: Kory Sheets, Purdue. In a relatively slow running-back group, Sheets still ran in the 4.4 range and caught the ball very well during position drills. He now looks like the draft’s top third-down back who has added value as a return man.

| Re: Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft? GTripp! Trade Rumors only - Hog Heaven Chris Horton Just speculating on this one. Have not heard anything about him being in trade talks, but knowing how the Redskins want to approach this draft, and where they want LaRon Landry to play next year, I would not be surprised at all if they tried to get a 2nd rounder for Horton, and then resign Mike Green at the league minimum.

I suppose we'd bring Doughty back and let him fight it out with Kareem Moore? Mike Green can't cover himself with blanket.
