yeah i go w/ Peria Jerry. Hopefully we could simultaneously work out a Golston/Monty trade for a 2nd round pick to address OT or LB and still get a competitive player. The d-line would be off the hook.

or whatever other reason to want to make up, the point is, he'd actually help our offense

I think as long as he stays healthy he is more likely to succeed. He could be that big target receiver that could quite possibly catch 15 balls a game. I see Thomas as more as a backup to Moss in the number 1 role.

Gotcha. Personally i have doubts about Thomas' abilities at WR in the near-term... which is why I think we ought to be getting our value out of him at KR/PR. He has phenom athletic ability once the ball is in his hands but I think route-running, catching and basically battling to make plays prior to the catch will be a weak point until he gets some better coaching.

I seen him run a couple kick returns back in preseason last year and it looked to me like he was scared to run full speed. He just ran into his own blockers and went down pretty easy. Now i'm not saying that was as good as he could be, just that he has a way to go.

Nobody is going to give us a 2nd Round pick for Golston or Montgomery.
