| Who's Your Favorite Unkown Favorite Small School Prospect I thought that this thread was a good idea. Lets hear some small school prospects that people out there like. I like a guy by the name of Blake Freese from Minnesota State. He is 6-3 242 pounds, and had like 86 tackles, five interceptions and tore up his pro day. He ran the 40-yard dash in the 4.62- to 4.64-second range. He also measured a 37-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-2 broad jump and completed 34 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He was a team leader and received all academic honors. Last edited by T.O.Killa; 04-13-2009 at 10:15 PM. |

Parrish looks like a good prospect. Sounds like he's a bit raw, but his negatives are problems that could be addressed with good coaching. Do you know when he's projected to go?

| Re: Who's Your Favorite Unkown Favorite Small School Prospect What about getting Dexter Manley II. His dad was a 5th round choice, he might not be his dad but still an athlete. |

I watched one of their games a couple years ago. He was just a soph. I think at the time. Didn't see him do much, but have read he's a good athlete like his dad. | |

Personally though Tony Kropoq is my favorite third round tackle, but he could go in the second due to the tendency for teams to reach for tackles. National Football League: NFL Draft 2009 - Troy Kropog

| Re: Who's Your Favorite Unkown Favorite Small School Prospect I really like the Greg Toler story, and he's definitely from a small school. Frantz Joseph is a beast ILB from FAU. Not really a small school, but they didn't even have a football team until 2001.

| Re: Who's Your Favorite Unkown Favorite Small School Prospect Hey your pretty territorial about your thread. I guess it could have gone under yours, but I was specifically looking for small school guys. Like Buzbee, Westbrook or for that matter Toler, who by the way, I like a whole lot. I meant this to be specifiably about small school prospects. |
