| Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion We all know that there are four "elite" level offensive tackles that will be taken by pick 15 in next weeks draft, most draft "experts" have Jason Smith rated as the best tackle coming in but what I wanna know is who do you think will be the better professional? Andre Smith once thought to be a shot for number one overall pick has really taken a stumble but not enough to take him out of the first half of round 1. While I think that Eugene Monroe is the most complete of the four I think that Smith will be the better pro of the four if he can get his head on str8, he just reminds me of Jeff Otah of last year if he gets his hands on you, you aren't going anywhere, If he can only stay in shape but I feel he has the biggest Boom/Bust ratio of the four what say you fellas???? P.S. : If this has already been done sorry and I ask that JoeCrisp lock it. (or TMC lol)

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion Dont get me wrong I love Oher if we were to get him I ould not shed a tear, but there is just sometihng in me that is saying IF he can stay focused and not mess it up that Andre Smith will be the best of them all.

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion It's such a big IF though. He's so gifted physically that in college he could roll out of bed and win the Outland Trophy. In the NFL it takes more. He's gonna have to work a lot harder off the field to be successful at the next level. That's the biggest question.

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion I have no strong argument but personally I'd put Monroe ahead of Oher and maybe at the top of the list. I think he has less to learn than others and is bigger than Smith. Maybe I'm just a Cavaliers homer, though.

That's what I was saying if he can realize that and play to his potential that the sky is the limit, if not then the limits the sky, which in retrospect is the same thing. But you get what I am saying.

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion I think A. Smith has the potential to be great, the question is whether he's willing to work for it, and if he comes to us I think he'll be better than J. Smith and Monroe because we have some good players around him (Portis, Cambell, Cooley, Moss) and vets (Samuels, Thomas, Dockery). All of this is assuming we draft him. |

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion I can't back it up but I think Tripp's order is essentially consensus and I am worried about Jason Smith only from a gut-feeling stand point. My gut tells me he will be just a good tackle. He just seems sorta "safe" to me and "safe" usually means good but not dominate. Oher appears to have huge upside and I think Andre Smith has been overly discounted. I don't know what to think of Monroe. He seems like another "safe" pick although I am probably a bit biased by Ferguson being less than dominate for Jets. We'll see. I don't think any of them have bust written all over them. I'd be happy with any of them at proper value in the market. |

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion I believe Andre Smith has the highest ceiling, but he's also the greatest risk. I would be happy to get any of the four at #13. |

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion I honestly haven't gotten a chance to see all of them play. I watched Oher closely in their bowl game, and I must say that I was disappointed but only because of a few plays. He seemed to be late off the ball & the DE ran around him w/little resistance. That's been the knock on him though, not always focused. Otherwise, athletically he looks like a great one. From what I've read, I think A. Smith may be the best pick. The things he's lacking are coachable. I would think that Buges would love the challenge of coaching this guy into a star. |

| Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion correction to my previous post, I've seen Monroe a lot over the years, guess I took him for granted. He was always tough. Will have a solid pro career. |
