Re: Undrafted Rookies Signed

DG28 -- I doubt it. I think Campbell was more concerned with seeing the Redskins invest a high pick and a lot of money in a guy. When a team does that, the writing is on the wall for the current starter. The high draft pick will get his shot.

In fact Im willing to bet Campbell wanted us to pick up an UDFA QB to take some reps from him during training camp.

Is he better then Crummy? Because it would kind of have been a waste if we bring in a guy who's not as good as the guy who didn't make the team last year.

We've also signed MLB Ronnie Palmer

Ronnie Palmer - 2009 Draft Tracker - SI.com

I've been following Williams since HS, I think he's the best lineman to come out of Maryland maybe ever

Daniels was a big part in making Mizzou competitive, any shmuck with a good arm could take snaps at USC and look damn good. USC is always stacked to the gills with talent as they have a virtual lock on the best of the best in HS blue chips in CA and in the West in general. Mizzou would have totally sucked without Daniels.

Good point.

Re: Undrafted Rookies Signed

Would like to see us keep Daniels but dont see that happening with Collins and Colt already here. He could stay on the practice squad but will there be enough room for him? I guess we still have a few months to worry about this though.

I'm really happy we got Williams...I think he should be able to make the team as a backup Center/Guard

Re: Undrafted Rookies Signed

Edwin Williams was apparently rated the 6th or 7th best Center prospect in the draft. Awesome we got him!

Has the zip to complete the short and intermediate passes, but has to wind-up for longer throws and due to his lack of height and release point, longer passes tend to sail.
Was that Daniels or Brennan's analysis?

It's funny how Zorn dislikes the shotgun and two years now has brought in "system" QBs whose success is strongly tied to the formation.

I was (am) hoping we'd sign the other Maryland tackle, Dane Randolph. Did he get drafted? He sounds like a guy Buges could mold into a decent player.

Re: Undrafted Rookies Signed

sometimes i wonder about you Terp fans. if these guys are so good, why isn't Maryland consistently playing in the B.C.S series?
