| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? I like the thought. If only 1 in 3 is capable then every 3rd year we have a decent backup and a new 3rd guy. Rinse repeat as necessary. Every now and then you might hit on a gem who can start and win ala Trent Green. At least this way you always have backups who know the system. |

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? This is interesting (from John Clayton), even the mighty Darth Hoody makes a questionable pick in the draft. Good thing our FO didn't do this, otherwise this website would have crashed with the rants: Quote:

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? The iggles are extremely good at integrating/developing young talent quickly and efficiently. It makes me extremely envious...we should kidnap their WR coach and hold him hostage until our WR corp gets its shit together LOL. ...Philly and NY helped themselves big in this draft. Gonna be very tough to beat but we seem to have Philly's number lately and we did add plenty of talent since last year. It's really all about the offense though cuz our d will be effing off the hook. If we're not #1 or #2 overall on d I'll be surprised and disappointed. But the offense has to 1)stay healthy 2) be more dynamic 3) be consistent 4) teach our WR to run-routes and catch the ball 5) stay healthy 6) stay healthy

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? i think its funny that that the same people that are lauding the eagles draft are the same people that say we need a tall receiver. do the eagles have a receiver taller then 6 foot?

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? Philly and Cincy. Effing Philly. They are going to be really good this year. On the other side of the coin, what about the Cowboys draft? Not much going on there. |

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? The Browns. What the heck happened with them? I'm not saying that I'm impressed with their picks and they are all Pro Bowls....I'm saying they walk in to the draft with like what 6-7 picks and seemed to walk out with like 10-15. lol. Three of them being picks Mangini had when he was with the Jets. lol. ESPN and NFL would go through all the teams picks and it seemed like 30 min. would go buy just covering the Browns picks. lol. |

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? Cinci got Michael Johnson in the 3rd round? Crazy. Phili had a good one too...McCoy is going to be good and Macho Harris is a talented guy too. It really hurts our team to give away picks. You can pick up some very good players in the 2nd-4th rounds. |

| Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive? I don't think it's a stretch to say they regressed this season on the field. Say what you want about addition by subtraction with T.O. but it's hard to replace 1,000 yds and 10 TD. They're relying a whole lot in the secondary on the development of the kid from S. Florida (Phillips?) at CB and a 5th rounder from last year (Scandrick) and did nothing to get younger on the OL. I think the 'Boys are staring 8-8 squarely in the face.
