THe Houston Texans are on the clock at 12:15pm, the pick is due by 2:15pm.

With the 20th pick, the Houston Texans select Earl Thomas, Safety from the Texas Longhorns.



Safety is perhaps the Texan's biggest need and Earl Thomas is a ball-hawk, big hitter and the playmaker they need in their secondary, the weakest part of their otherwise solid and young defense.
