I just want to know what they're going to do with their QBs. Orton looked like he works OK in their system. Brady Quinn is horrible but why'd they trade for him to be a #3 possibly? Is Tebow going to get on the field as a QB? You don't pick a gimmick/wildcat player in Round 1.

Yes, McDaniels will be a replay of Jim Zorn. First season was nearly identical...hot start, horrendous finish. Second season...it all falls apart.

I love what the 49ers have done with Anthony Davis OT and Mike Iupati OG. They still have their 2nd round pick 49th overal. They can still get a very good QB for the future.

Patriots traded themselves out of getting an impact player. Not very impressed with their pick. I really think Bellichicken traded down with the hope of getting Dez Bryant or Tim Tebow. Dallas and Broncos traded in and stole them from Broncos. Although CB was a need pick and they filled a major need.

Denver over paid for moving up to get Tebow. Although I really like Tebow. Ravens made out like bandits.

Agreed about San Fran. They and Seattle had an amazing night.

I'm honestly not to worried about the Giants. On paper, they had a scary front 7 last year but it didnt translate to a scary pass-rush on the field. Besides, with Trent Williams and dramatically improved coaching and QB play, i don't think we'll have to worry too much.
I love that despite cutting their LT this offseason and needing a guard as well, the cowboys drafted a head case WR instead. In a draft where the Eagles and the Giants both took pretty good pass rushers, despite having a good push anyway.

That makes us taking a LT an even bigger deal and a nice job by a real HC and GM.

VC is only responsible for using the 3rd on Jarmon last year.

Profootball talk said something, but still just my thoughts.

I would take a 2nd this year, but they've gotta sweeten the pot a bit more and toss in another pick for next year. 3rd rd or better.

Re: Draft News for the Warpath

^I agree Matty you don't give a player of Haynesworth's caliber to the superbowl winner without stinging them a bit.

Also heard Hicks was picked up to play the RT position.
