Now looking at the stats there are successfull quarterbacks in the NFL that didn't pass this rule, Favre, Rodgers and McNabb amongst them, but there are a lot of first round draft pick quarterback busts who were drafted high but failed this rule. From this year's class the guys who passed were Ponder, Dalton, McElroy, and Gabbert.
I also thought the lone comment from the article was very interesting. Don't know if it is true or not though.

Wow, Peyton a 28 Wonderlic, Eli 39 (quiet b/c he's pensive?), and Fitzpatrick a 48. I knew Harvard == smart, but didn't realize scores on the test went that high.

New respect for Eli, though. Interesting link and post. Thanks."

watching it on NFLN... so far, Locker doesn't look all that great, accuracy is off, as advertised. Ponder looks like the better player so far.

Enough is enough, Locker can't get it done.

The combo of Ponder to Mr. Hankey dominated.

So far it's a complete shit show.

Locker got four pass attempts and was blindsided on one play because that first round graded tackle from Colorado crapped his pants and got embarrassed.

How can anyone tell anything by that?
Dane Sanzenbacher... 4 catches, 3 first downs. Doesn't drop anything he gets his finger tips on. 5th round gem

He has accuracy and smarts. The two together can take you far in the NFL.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week

So why is it 33 people voted to take a QB at #10? If I am correct a lot of people have been saying Locker would be the best pick in this draft class, or at least the safest. Making my desire for taking a defensive pick first look good right now. Keep crapping the bed Locker!!!

Quote me on what I said. Sometimes you need to face the facts Brody81.

Brian Orakpo in my opinion is still a lazy player similar to when he was in Texas. He'll come off the sidelines playing like DWare, then by the 5th snap he's no where to be found. I think that since I'm as big of a Redskin fan as any of you, it's alright for me to think this.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week

To be honest, today was the first time that I had a chance to see much of Locker and I can't say I'm very impressed. In fact, I like Stanzi about 1000x more! I didn't see much of him, but I loved what I saw. Not sure what the "experts" are saying about him but if we could get him with our 2nd (do we have a 2nd? I lost track) I'd be pretty happy, especially if it meant we got some LB or OL help in the first.

Also, as a biased Terps fan who happens to sport a #23 jersey to all the home games, I would love it if the Skins could end up with Da'rel Scott in one of the later rounds but I doubt that will happen. I'm glad to see he had a nice day today. Best of luck to him!

No doubt about that, if you had to compare him to any other QB who would it be? Some say Chad Pennington but Ponder is more mobile imo.
