| Re: Your final prediction for #10 I say go QB. Trade down if we can, but Locker is a decent choice at #10. The draft always overvalues QB's because they can change the entire franchise. Locker was a #1 pick last year, and I don't buy that he dropped down for staying one more year. I'd be fine getting another QB like Ponder later in the draft, but I think Locker is a better pick. For Julio Jones - remember Detroit picked up four WR in top 10 from 2003-2007. And look where it got them. Even when they had Calvin Johnson, one of the best WR in the game -- they were the first team to finish 0-16 and were still picking at #1 the next year. |

Trent Williams and Tyron Smith as bookends? Sick. Those bookends would be the building the block of a dominant OL. You create a pocket from which a QB can function. Its a tough call for me at 10. QB? Locker vs Gabbert To QBs with very similar production under very different circumstances. I would lean towards Locker.

| Re: Your final prediction for #10 So many questions about this draft pick, I love it. I can't remember being this confused on which position we'll go in a long time.

| Re: Your final prediction for #10 My guess is Julio Jones. I would PREFER a NT or O-Lineman though.

| Re: Your final prediction for #10 I'm still going Locker at #10. A trade out of 10 would actually suprise me.

| Re: Your final prediction for #10 This feels like the 2006 draft. A highly athletic QB coming off winning a National Championship. A highly touted pocket passer. Then a gunslinger QB prospect with accuracy questions from a mediocre team. Vince Young, Matt Leinert or Jay Cutler. Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert or Jake Locker. Let's see if history repeats?
