| RGIII Heisman Winner So RGIII takes the Heisman. Does this raise his stock in the draft putting him into consideration for number 1? Could Luck be on our side and drop to us?

None are currently in the NFL and there were a lot of QB's on that stage that are not preparing for a game tomorrow. Stock shmock. No guarantees on any of them. | |

| Just saying the Heisman should not be as big a measuring stick as it used to be. Seems to be more Heisman busts in & out of the NFL in the most recent decade. Just saying, grade the player and not the brass. |

| Re: RGIII Heisman Winner Nah, what this is going to do is catapult him ahead of Barkley as the 2nd QB drafted. I'll be happy with him or Barkley, can't wait until we finally get a franchise QB. |

| Was Cam Newton up there? Sorry man, winning the Heisman doesn't lower RG3's stock for me in any way. I would take him or Luck in a heartbeat. |

| Re: RGIII Heisman Winner I would almost be more excited about him than Luck. Don't get me wrong, I think Luck is going to be an outstanding NFL QB, but after seeing all the articles and interviews with Griffin leading up to the Heisman I think he will be something special. In my opinion intelligence is more important than physical skills in terms of being a QB, but Griffin has both in spades. |

| Re: RGIII Heisman Winner RGIII by a mile. I would rather see us take a chance on someone that could be incredibly special than using a pick on a QB that's surrounded by first round talent from a program that has a history of producing QB's with overrated NFL potential. |

| Re: RGIII Heisman Winner Very true and understandable. However, Leinart, Palmer, and especially Sanchez weren't being looked at as college QB's when they were in 8th Grade like Barkley was. Also Barkley took over as a True Freshman, beat out a highly rated Senior in Aaron Corp, and took USC with the fewest talent it had in years, to Columbus Ohio to beat Ohio State in a 2 minute drive to end the game. He's only gotten better, and he puts up great numbers against the pac 12. The difference off the bat between him, Leinart, and Sanchez, is that Matt always had great players around him with a weak arm. Barkley has a strong arm and has played with bad and great players, yet is consistent with whomever. Sanchez only played one year at USC with some good players. Barkley has been playing and starting for 3 straight years. Palmer on the other hand was a great player in college, and was starting to become great until he tore his ACL in that playoff game, and wasn't the same since.
