| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Boooo. Damnit. I'm not liking our odds if RG3 stays too. I guess we'd go the "somebody else's retreads" route. |

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Well it's two names. One I've heard directly associated with the Redskins but the source while good is just one source and so, in my mind, that's not enough. Plus it's more of a "this could happen" possibility The other name I've been asking a lot of different people about today and it's potentially got some serious legs. It'd be pretty huge. The rumor hasn't been as directly associated with the Redskins but indirectly it has. If I get more info to be able to confirm or totally debunk either rumor then of course I'd tell you. But, as is my policy, I don't like to just throw things out there (I just like to tease). They're both young (youngish) QBs. And I'm not talking about guys I've talked about in the past Bradford (would absolutely trade for him) and Colt McCoy (not as sure)

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) It was a joke, hence the 'jus' curious.. Man, a college kid stays in school and folks get all uptight. Tis the season bro.

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) we are both thinkin the same thing, i just don't see a scenario where mike shannahan says i made a mistake about campbell let's give him another try. doesn't seem like the way he does bussiness, but honestly i think it could be a great fit and really don't know we ever let him go, it would have been nice to have a competent qb that can manage a game in our stable

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Me and you are thinking along the same lines here, first with Campbell and now with SS's response. I think he's doing exactly what you're saying. What if we gave Oakland their 2012 fourth back for Campbell? Or better yet, gave him a 2012 fifth back since they essentially rented him for 2 years. |
