| Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) New news, new thread We can expand the talk to discuss some of the mid to late round prospects. For example...Kellen Moore who will be playing his final Boise State game tonight

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) **** me!! RGIII will probably follow suit. The draft changes completely for the Redskins now, I would consider Foles, Cousins or Moore in the 2nd and trade down get a CB, C or WR.

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) I think they trade down, pick up Tannehill, and get a few more picks and continuously draft down. Barkley staying in school could be a bit of a blessing in disguise for us... |

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Can I get a refund for the time I've wasted here debating the merits of Barkley or RGIII? Seriously, as big as our QB need is, I wonder if we go best player available (assuming RGIII returns as is also rumored) because the drop off after Luck is steep and next years class seems deeper and more talented in the 1st round. As I mentioned this morning this could work out to be another trade down draft for us.

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Well you never know maybe there's some QB out there no one is thinking of that may suddenly become available That said, I've felt for a while we probably weren't going QB in the top 10 anyway. I kind of wish it was April already

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Well, with Matt Barkley set to return to USC, we longer have to write about him. All of the NFL Mock Drafts will have to suddenly be updated. As for picking a QB in the second round, I'm against it. Most of the successful QBs in the NFL that lead their teams to the playoffs year in and year out are former 1st round draft selections. Big Ben, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, and others. The Redskins must do whatever it can to land a QB in the first round and there are no senior QBs that are projected 1st round picks. What it all boils down to is the Redskins and the Rams becoming trade partners, and the Redskins trading away their 1st and possibly their second round picks to move up in exchange for the Rams 1st and maybe 3rd round picks. This is the only way the Redskins are going to draft RG3. |

| Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV) Me too. I don't blame us but we sure do engage in a lot of idle speculation here. It would be nice to talk about what-is rather than what-if.
