You really gotta stop making sense.

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for RGIII. I'm just not falling in love with his mobility, and hope they compare his overall QB skills (not just his deep ball) vs. the other options available at QB. Would hate to see us sell the farm to get him when some Eli Manning-like donk taken in the 2nd or third round goes on to win Super Bowls for some team that gave up nothing but a draft pick to get him. If they assess him to be the best QB in the draft, go get him. I'd just about ignore his mobility for now.

the only concern i would have with rg3 would be his durability. he is fairly light and tore his acl 2 years ago.

Agreed. At some point, you gotta do what you need to do to get a franchise QB. The offense is built up just enough so that he's got someone to throw to, and he's not running for his life on every play. It's not like we'd put him in Steve Spurrier's no protection offense.

A rare ability.

We'll have to forget about John Beck at some point, because he wasn't good enough to throw the ball 10 yards, never mind run it 10 yards.
I didn't forget. But all I'm saying is Beck was supposed to be the mobile QB, fans wanted Beck to play, when Beck got his chance it seemed like all he was asked to do was drop back and pass the ball. No running, no nothing just sitting back and getting sacked. I'm not even sure he could have ran for a 1st down the way the pocket collapsed most of the time.

Again all I'm saying is RGIII could be the best QB coming out but if the team is not going to utilize his talents then they might as well pick a QB that has the talents they will be asking him to utilize. Which brings me back to saying Luck will be gone and who knows if RGIII is even the QB the team is interested in? he's who we fans are interested in but it might not be who the coaches are interested in.

Rely on it too much and hello IR.
Why does Vicks name come to mind?

I don't see them saying it either but depending on what they do in FA I could see them saying "man I'm glad we got that WR in the 1st round instead of RGIII." or we all could be saying "Who would have thought RGIII would be holding the clip board for (enter QB name here)." but we all could be saying what we did about Cam Newton.... "Who would have thought he would look this good."

This team is due for something nice to happen at QB no matter who it is. We do know Grossman and Beck should not be starting and because of this I think I'd fire both and bring in Flynn at all cost so long as we are not tossing in draft picks. Then I'd do whatever was needed to get RGIII. Then either KS or the QB coach would be working with Flynn from the day after we signed him through camp. RGIII would get his playbook the day after the draft and when he could show up he's be with the coach's learning the plays and studying film.

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

Unless Luck, RG3, Blackmon, or Kalil are there we should trade outta the 6th pick. I would give serious thought to drafting Claiborne as well, but is he a shutdown CB? Hes not as good as Peterson coming out.

The other option being talked about is Tannehill. Would we seriously consider taking a converted WR to QB with a broken foot who you probably wouldnt consider a top 10 QB in the country in college at 6? Tannehill is not a QB who will be prepared to take the field next year. He's gonna have to sit. I think the 2 QBs from Arizona are much better prospects.

I would trade down if Luck, RG3, Blackmon and Kalil are gone and go for the best G to come out in years, David DeCastro. Our offense would change overnight with this guy.

He's better than Peterson coming out as far as cover corners go. Is he the athlete Peterson is? No but a better cover guy and a shut down guy. If we don't get RGIII or Justin Blackmon. Claiborne would be my next choice.

I still think that cornerback isnt the biggest of our needs. Use our picks to get the best qb we can get.

We either need to trade up...or down from the 6th pick. If we can reasonably trade up to secure RG3 then make it happen. If not, then we need to fall back and position ourselves to take one of the AZ quaterbacks in the late first. If we get stuck at 6th tne we better hope Blackmon falls to us.

My sig tells you what I think.
