Spinning the ball in shorts and a tee shirt may help an under the radar player get noticed....prompting scouts to take a closer look at his game film.

I seriously doubt that it helps prospects who are already highly touted and well scouted.

Redskins Request Private Visit With LSU's Michael Brockers - Hogs Haven

It's not going to be the fan favorite if the Skins pick him at #6 especially since defense was such a major part of the draft last year and the fact we need a QB but .... what else is new.

This is the 2nd time this off-season the Redskins have requested time with Brockers (for the life of me, I can't remember when was the first time but I know it happened. Unless the first time was also for the combine?)

Anyhow, this could mean a few things:

-Due diligence

-Legitimate interest

-Getting some intel on his teammate Morris Claiborne (whose position coach at LSU just took the same job with the Bucs incidentally)

Who is Guy and why do I keep hearing about him ?

They are exploring all options, maybe they won't take him at #6 but if they trade down he might be someone they are looking at.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread

So apart from Brockers, Redskins have met/will meet with Baylor C Phillip Blake (spent time with him at the Senior Bowl as well), Ohio State OT Mike Adams and Stanford OT Jonathan Martin

Sooo ... the plan is to sign Manning, trade back and get a tackle and Tannenhill/Foles.

Or at least we are doing due diligence regarding that plan.

After seeing what the NYG did with their defensive line in the playoffs, I might be able to get on board with this.

not me. the difference is the Giants play decent D or cause a turnover and their OFFENSE could make the other team pay. We play the same way and f*ckin Rex is 3 and out, or turning the ball back over, or Gano is getting his kick blocked.

Our problem is offense, its dreadful.

Eli is better than Rex. Its as simple as that. Rex Grossman is a good QB for both teams; he keeps both of them in the game!

NFL Combine: Rams fielding offers for No. 2 pick and essentially RG3 - ESPN

the way i read this is that there is a possibility of a trade this week for the #2 pick. dont think i would happen, i think the rams could get more by waiting till closer to draft or durning it.

Wait for after his pro day March 22? 21st? 23rd? One of those and then we'll have a trade done by then. (Redskins or not)
