| Re: One Last Luck vs RGIII Thread I've been thinking about this as well. Just because RG3 has the personality, doesn't mean he's going to be successful playing in the NFL. Luck reminds me a lot of peyton manning, in terms of how they talk, act, and their humbleness. While its true that RG3 is riding his fame wave, you got to keep in mind that WE care about him more than any other player in the draft, because we know he will be our future QB. I'm sure Colt fans are following Luck real closely as well. Like people said, he still is getting in his hours worth of playbook knowledge with Kyle Shanahan, now it may not be as much time as Luck, because Luck loves studying and reading and Luck also knows that the pressure is on since he IS going to be the number 1 pick. This draft has a lot of feels to it, but lets hope its not like the 1998 draft, and its more like the 2004 draft.

| Re: One Last Luck vs RGIII Thread RG3 vs. Luck is no contest. It's been said that Luck is more pro ready because RG3 had played in the spread offense. Put Luck in the spread and RG3 in a pro offense and what do you got? People would then be saying that RG3 is a better prospect than Luck. So, to me it's even and therefore no contest. What the other can do in one style of offense, the other can do in another style of offense. |

I still think RG3 will have the better year as he is surrounded by a better team and the AFC South defenses Luck will be facing in division (Titans, Texans, and Jaguars) all ranked in the top 10 last year and that was after adjusting for strength of schedule. NFC East offenses weren't to bad but at the same time they're not great either. I really think though that Luck vs Griffin is going to be the NFL's version of Bird vs Magin and Gretzky vs Lemieux.
