| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 I don't see what's wrong with having 2 solid QBs. This is like when people felt like we had to decide between Davis and Cooley at TE. We've got our Bentley and then we've got our backup Corvette. You're gonna be stylin either way.

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 I like the Cousins pick, nice to have a good backup QB for a franchise QB who does sometimes run. Nice to have a front office who doesn't rely on a Curtis Painter for 10 years.. If we go deep into the playoffs (in 3-5 years), and our QB gets whacked by Polamalu or Ray Lewis-type player -- it would be nice to believe we could still win the game.. Btw, seems like Cousins is a good leader, but immobile - negative 100 yards rushing I believe in his career.. IF RG3 ever goes out, we'd have to completely switch our game plan, etc. Here's my question -- why did Cousins' drop? Past Foles, Osweiler, etc. Sure, maybe he was a "steal", but why did everyone else pass on him three times? |

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 Not sure I'd say Cousins "dropped". He was projected to go somewhere between rounds 2-4. He's got decent mobility, keep in mind sacks count against rushing yards in college. |

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 The Redskins gave up alot for RGIII so to say it would take alot to move from him to your #2 would be putting it mildlyBoth are very good young QB's and both I'm sure feel they can play in the NFL,I just believe that it will only be a matter of time before Cousins feels he can be a starter in the NFL somewhere.

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 I am completely shocked by the pick. knowing the other glaring needs. I understand having to "make" the pick because he was there, but honestly you invest all the picks to move up to get RGIII, now seems like you are sending a message that just in case RGIII struggles. which in my mind may cause a little undue pressure or stress on RGIII. I know backups are very important, but i just dont get the pick. |

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 I don't see what the fuss is about really. Yeah I get the argument that a potential starter at other positions could have been taken with that pick. If that's your beef, ok. But a 4th rounder is no real threat to a guy like RG3 who we just gave up a fortune to get. I think their roles are pretty clear. |

| Re: Kirk Cousins pick 4.7 There are alot of people who said we can't find a Franchise QB in the 4th rd, but yet some of those same people are saying RG3 are 1st rd QB needs to be worried about Cousins our 4th rd picked QB. Please make up your minds can you find a Starting QB in the 4th rd or not. MS has made it clear to both QB's. |
