Re: Draft wrap-up 2013

Best thing to remember about Rambo, Thomas and Amerson is dont expect these guys to be probowlers when they step on the field. I imagine outside of QB, secondary is probably the hardest position to learn from college to NFL. If somehow they even start it would be a miracle because I dont think Hasslet or Shanny are going to put someone back there with veterans like Reed, Merriweather, Hall, and Wilson on the team. Experience > potential right now imo

^ Nice video, HailGreen. The first one they interviewed cracked me up the most. And then the Cowpoke's "fan" at 1:09.

The redskins fan, other than the last gmen fan, was the smartest.

ANYONE is better than Madieu Williams. So true. Even a non existent player.

I don't know if they are trying to turn a positive spin on this, I think they are just making the point that the majority of his deficiencies (i.e. his backpeddling) are nonissues given how we use our CBs. They're basically saying he is a really solid scheme match, and not necessarily the lockdown corner we were all hoping for. I thought it was a good article.

I agree.

Also, a frequent knock against Amerson is that he gets beat by double moves. That is a fixable problem.

Such a debbie downer, aren't you? I had same thought as mbedner did, we all wanted a shut down corner, but obviously Redskins coaches aren't looking for that kind of corner, they wanted a corner who can play the schemes and Amerson seem to be a good pick. The truth is we all cannot decide if Amerson is a good or bad pick now, all we can do is wait until end of the season then we can decide. Or few years later.

Entertaining pics of supposed team needs. I know this is late, but the basic position ranking and couple blurbs are interesting. (Dunno how accurate)

Re: Draft wrap-up 2013

Funny picture for the Eagles. Love how the whole offensive line needs help.

Here's ours. Looks like we fixed what we needed to. How the hell do they call Trent Williams "questionable"? I'd also say our ILBs, DEs and one WR should be "good to go". This thing is severely flawed.

Love seeing red on the offensive line for Dallas...are they going to play their 1st-round Center with 3rd-round talent at one of these guard spots? Also interesting how the other teams have their head coach pictured on the bottom and Dallas gets a Jerry Jones mugshot.

Re: Draft wrap-up 2013

LT and 1 WR spot at least should be good to go on ours. Not sure why Garcon would be considered a questionable, could easily have both WR spots as good to go, but I can understand that no one player really rises above the pack for the second spot. Same with DE, again, we may not have elite talent there, but to say it's questionable seems a bit lame as well.

I think they were just saying a DE in general, a WR in a general and a tackle in general. Not left or right. I thought the same thing but then I went to the lions page and checked the lions and it said WR questionable. So I'm assuming they don't mean Calvin Johnson and mean the lions could just improve at the receiver position.
And if that's what they mean then they would be right. Redskins could improve the dline, the receiving core and obviously at the tackle positions.

This.

They aren't denoting the side of the position in need, just the position itself. It would have been nice if they expanded and even noted the sides that need help.

Trent was elite before the draft too.
