ďTo me, with McCloughan being a great evaluator, [the Redskins] have a chance to really step it up next year and be right there with the Cowboys in a very competitive division.Ē

I guess Kipler is thinking the 4-12 season Dallas had was a fluke this year.

What was more of a fluke, the Cowboys going 12-4 in 2014 or 4-12 in 2015 with no Romo? Better to prepare for the worst, hope for the best. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cowboys bounce back next year.

For me my biggest fear is McC leaving for some reason, whether it be his personal issues, or some other team offering him an unheard of deal, or w/e. This may come off the wrong way but I want him here for life. Idc if we have to dig a hole and make him put the lotion on the skin, I want him like a fat kid wants cake. #noshame I think when it's all said and done and if he keeps his personal issues under control by the time he retires he could be mentioned with some of the all time greats. Very few men have the track record of success that he has.

Sure romo is a big loss...anytime a starting fringe top 10 qb goes down, it will affect the team. But if u actually watched the Cowboys this year..wow..they have a lot of problems all over the field. No pass rush, no turnovers on defense, shaky secondary play, an Oline that took a step back and a head coach that took a step back...they have a lot of questions to answer before anyone pencils them in as east champs 2016.

On SM I agree.

On Dallas, Garrett is 40 and 40 in the past 5 years as Cowboys, that's an almost incredible feat.

Dallas with Romo healthy probably makes the playoffs, lack of QB killed them.

Dallas had more problems than QB.

Kiper mentions them because it's some sort of requirement in the media to constantly be on their nuts.

Kiper is a fool. Did he actually watch any of the Cowboy games? They can no longer count on Romo to play 16 games. He is fragile at this point of his career.

He's just another wanna be draft expert. He has no real credentials, never played or worked for an NFL team. I'll never forget the former Colts GM destroying him on live tv.

What might have been. Maybe see if he wants to come back now that his head is clear.

He sounds like he was pretty immature and all the setbacks that occurred might have humbled his ass.

Reading this part tugged at my heartstrings:

"Hallidayís flight out of Dulles International Airport departed before dawn. His cab arrived at 3:45 a.m. As the taxi approached the on-ramp of the highway, a lone vehicle pulled directly in front of it: a BMW 760, just like the one he had dreamt of owning. ďIt was right in front of us,Ē says Halliday. ďThen the driver floored it. He must have been going 100 to 120 miles per hour. And that was my dream disappearing in front of me.Ē

Surely someone will give this guy the opportunity to fulfill his dream of going 100-120 mph in a Beamer with 20's on it.
