Re: Early Mock Picks

I certainly hope the BPA for the next five years for us isnt a wide receiver or we're going to have one silly ass looking roster.

Um okay *shrugs*.

Who would you pick based on that mock's previous 20 picks?

And what makes taking Doctsun unfavorable to you?

Becasue right now our pass rush needs more attention then our WRs. I'm not a big BPA fan boi.

And even though I want a stud DT or MLB I'm inclined to take Eli Aplle in the first round.
Sounds like we may trade out of the first anyways.
Either way I would take defense on the first three picks.

Re: Early Mock Picks

not sure if he is a football player, but Beckham's cousin is a heck of an athlete. Vinny would have used a high pick on him.

Would LOVE these as our top three. I'm man-crushing on Joseph hard too. The dude is like a smaller Sean Taylor.

Re: Early Mock Picks

Ryan Kelly ... It will help solve 2 issues. Our Center position and improve the run game. 2 for one

I wouldn't hate it. But if you can't stop anybody from scoring and you get down 10, you've got to move away from the run anyway. Defense is pretty key for us this year.

Re: Early Mock Picks

I dont see Kelly going in the first round.

I think if McC was able to do something awesome like trading back with the Titans and gaining 2 seconds, then I think Kelly could be in play for us.

I would take that draft any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Re: Early Mock Picks

since the Redskins are not going to spend money on good free agents, then they must add as many high picks as they can. I hope they trade down, there is a chance to rebuild the defense quickly.

Then they need WR, C, RB, TE, and a 3rd string QB too.

Gil Brandt says there are 18 impact players in the draft. If there is a major mistake and a great one slips maybe you take him.

First-Pick.com

Things just fell into my lap in that last mock, sometimes their scenarios are a bit unrealistic. ...but still fun.
