Re: Report: Soriano to the Cubs

I saw this and it just pisses me off. I've always liked Soriano. As much as I hated NY, I always liked him. When he came to Washington I was ecstatic. I was hoping they would move Vidro, but they didn't and he took his game to LF. He played a nice LF for the Nats and brought a huge bat to the lineup. What pisses me off though, is that if they knew couldn't resign him, why didn't they trade him?!

I loved having him on the team. I was hoping he'd get re-upped, but I knew it was done when that report came out about him not taking whatever deal they denied they offered. Sucks to see him go.

Kinda makes me sick that Pollin, whoever the hell owns the Nats now, Angleos and Snyder run my favorite teams...at least Snyder spends money...I guess.

Re: Report: Soriano to the Cubs

Looks like the Nats are content on being a small market club. How are they going to convert DC and VA O's fans by making (or not making moves like this). If you didn't want to pay him you should have gotten something for him before he left.

Ridiculous.

Re: Report: Soriano to the Cubs

$17mill a year seems like an awful lot :/

it'd be better if they spent that money on pitching instead, but so far i haven't heard anything...

I was hoping my White Sox would get him.

Should I run now?
