100 point deduction???

Both Gordon and Johnson got docked 100 points by NASCAR for mistakes to their cars by Hendrick motorsports. That's not right. Fine the team, but it's not right to dock that many points.
Isn't that exactly what Busch got docked and he did something 10 times worse?

If it had been Joe Gibbs Racing I'd be pissed!!! Penalizing the driver also penalizes the team. I do think 100 points was a bit much and
I'm no Gordon fan.

Personally I hate Nascar, but are the Rednecks getting riled up that Gibbs is switching to Toyota most likely?

I'm a Redneck yer talking about and there is NO deal with Toyota. JGR will start talks with Chevy this month.

I don't want Gibbs to go with Toyota cus well they aren't running very well and JGR has the COT chevy dialed in.

Go #11 Fed/Ex Chevy!

I have never really been into racing but I am trying to get into it now. Could someone tell me how the points work and what this really means.

Last year was my rookie season watching NASCAR and I love it. Join the dark side with me and JGR phenom Denny Hamlin in the Black #11 Fed/Ex Chevy!

Basicly you get points for winning and where you place in races. You also get points for leading a lap and leading the most laps in a race.

This tally or Standing gets you in the playoffs which they call the Chase. Only top 12 or so out of the 45+ make it into the Chase for the Championship.

Denny is in 2nd now.
