Sure you can't, but you also can't ignore a loss to an unranked team. While VT shouldn't be playing for it, neither should LSU.

whats crazy is how kansas can be in the orange bowl with the 109th weakest schedule or something like that...they beat 1 ranked team, #24 kansas state...mizzou got screwed

I would tend to agree. I think the championship should be OSU versus Georgia.

Georgia didnt even make it to the SEC championship game and who has Kansas or Hawaii beat this season.

The system is flawed, LSU does not deserve their spot period. This season should bring about a playoff system of some sort becuase this was just crap. Maybe then hawaii could beat someone.

Right, but who have they LOST to? Hawaii, no one. And Kansas, lost to number two Missouri. LSU lost to unranked Arkansas and lowly ranked Kentucky. It's still two losses. While Kansas can't claim to have beaten a lot of great teams, they at least can claim they haven't lost to any bad ones.

missouri was a poser who lost to Oklahoma twice and Kansas's biggest win was against Kansas State so LSU does deserve it over any of the other teams that were there Oklahoma lost to Colorado and Texas Tech come on now.

This year will mark the most unimpressive MNC to date in the BCS system. This year is absolute proof that there needs to be a playoff system, whether it be 4 or 8 or even 16 teams I dont care, just make a playoff. and no im not saying this cuz WV shat the bed on saturday cuz i think with a loss like that they wouldve been eliminated from a playoff anyway.

LSU lost to Kentucky and Arkansas, not really that great of losses if you can call any loss good. In fact the only team in the current top 5 who hasnt lost to a then unrranked team, is Virginia Tech.

I know BUT the key word here is WIN. If you're talking about easy wins versus losses against crappy teams, I don't see a situation where a team getting beaten by an unranked should be playing for the national title. Even Hawaii should be getting a shot.

Sec is a tougher confrence this is exactly what everyone was saying last year when Florida got there ahead of Michigan and they whipped OSU's ass in the game
