| Baseball Playoffs Ok, now that baseball is starting up i was wondering, why not expand the number of teams that make it to october. My ideas: My favorite- 3 division winners, 2 wildcards play in a series, winner plays top seed in conference. Another- like the NFL, 2 teams with byes, while other four play it out. My least favorite but whatever, 8 teams make it, 3 division winners, 5 wildcards. Thoughts?

| Re: Baseball Playoffs Baseball is the most tradition bound sport. There are plenty of people who get worked up over having a wildcard at all. I doubt this will happen anytime soon. |

| Re: Baseball Playoffs If they can get interleague play going they sure as hell can add a wild card. I really don't care anyway. Wake me when it's August. I'd rather watch preseason football over baseball. |
