| Re: Nationals' GM Jim Bowden Resigns This isn't surprising, and while Bowden had his moments, he was mediocre at best. I mean, he was the Nats' GM for 5 years and really didn't do much to improve the ball club. And in Cincy, his claim to fame was trading to get Griffey. One playoff appearance in 15+ years as a GM...the Nats are definitely better off without him.
