Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has named Flip Saunders as head coach. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released.

It's hard to be 'zards fan when we mortgaged ourselve to Gilbert and fired Eddie. I would rather have Eddie, and no Gil.

Saunders blows. Couldn't get it done in MN with Garnett and Co. Have fun. Wiz will be looking for a new man in appx 2 - 3 years after more ineptitude and frustration. Have fun with that. Go Lakers!

I must admit, Eddie Jordan was the best-dressed coach ever. He had great suits.

I wish he had been given more of a chance, as we can tell the team didn't improve after Tapscott took over. Too many key injuries, wasn't Eddie's fault.

Love those old Bullets unis. Just can't get serious about a team called the "Wizards"..so lame. Change the name back and the franchise will start winning again.
