| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens I understand the momentum thing and not wanting to slow the game down, but Crosby is a bitch, pure and simple.

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Well you didn't see any of our players whining and bitching about Varly getting stick checked to the face right before their 3rd goal. That was crap. |

On the other hand, when they showed John Harbaugh sitting in a suite earlier in the game it seemed like all the caps and pens fans were briefly united in booing him. I mean, he seems to be a likeable enough person but it was still funny as hell.

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Game 2 was incredible. Ovechkin is the master of the puck. Glad the Caps put away the Blueshirts in seven. The airwaves in NYC got a little headstrong after Games 1 and 2. Ranger fans were already looking ahead to the next round. The Caps exposed the Rangers and posted a great comeback in the series. I'm a Devil fan (Boy did we lose in a horrific fashion) but I'll jump on the Cap bandwagon now. |

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Do you all think that Gary Bettman had to consult his doctor 4 hours after that game ended?

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Wow this series has been good. Very entertaining! Varlamov has been the story of the playoffs.

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Varly was absolutely outstanding tonight. Some of those flurries he withstood were amazing. That last goal in overtime wasn't his fault. Deflected in by his own player. I'm a bit nervous though. If not for outstanding goaltending we could easily be down 3-0. We've been getting outplayed for the most part.

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens The Caps were very sloppy last night, the defense atrocious. On Malkin's goal, to allow Billy Guerin to just sit in front of Varlamov without putting him on his ass was pretty bad. And a weak interference call put the Caps on only their 2nd power play all game, from which Backstrom capitalized. If that is a no call, it's 2-1 with no OT. Hopefully they bounce back on Friday...

| Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens Yeah I don't get why they are getting so outplayed. Especially on defense they're always chasing always slightly out of position. |
