I remember when Muggsy was drafted a few years later you had a gentle giant (7'7") and a midget (5' nuthin) what a combo in Washington. Yes he did a lot of out reach work to help his homeland and the local community. Kidney disease is just horrible. Quote:

Interestingly enough, the Bullets had both the tallest played in NBA history and also the shortest (Bogues 5'3") at the same time in '87-'88. They also had roles in Space Jam together. Of course I'll remember Bol because seeing him on the court as a kid was a shock...so tall...but millions of people in the world will remember him for his off-the-court accomplishments...which is the way life is intended to be lived. Great man.

| Re: Manute Bol has died As a kid I had one of those game give away life size "chart your growth" posters of manute with a measuring stick on the side so kids like myself could track how tall they were getting compared to manute. I remember him being polite when there would be fan signings and fan appreciation days. rip. seemed like a good man.
