Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread

So I called in to the Sports Reporters today with Czaban and Andy Pollin. Pollin is Jewish was talking about his schpilkas (yiddish for anxiety) meter, and whether or not Caps fans are nervous.

Scroll to minute 18:00 on the dot and you can hear my call in (at first they called me Wayne, but then got it right with Greg):

Dude! Have you learned nothing on this site?

The way to post this is "Guys I asked a question on the radio. What do you think? Was it a good one?"

Seriously though, good job

Boudreau basically wallpapered Madison Square Garden with bulletin board material and now the Caps can't back any of it up. Damn shame...

Why Boudreau would talk all that smack right before this game is beyond me. So so stupid.

It's like he's outcoaching himself. Tinkering with all the lines looking for the perfect matchups...

And all the penalties and sloppy passes and line changes... Just terrible. My schpilkas meter is ringing off the chart.

They sure insist on making it exciting don't they? Just once, I'd like the Caps to coast boringly (is that a word) through a 1 vs. 8 series

And as soon as we tie it we give them ANOTHER power play opportunity.

That was downright inept. I guess Henrik felt like he had to freeze the puck to give his guys a breather, but why reach that far for it?

Oh well, thanks I guess!!

I'll be the first to admit it. After the back-to-back goals to make it 0-3 I watched an episode of Mad Men OnDemand. I had ESPN up on my computer so I was keeping an eye on the score, then went back to the game after Semin scored.

I'm not proud of myself.
