I love Mark Cuban. I wished he owned the Redskins. What a joy to listen to. He also gets bonus points for wearing a "Smurfs" t-shirt on ESPN. Hands down, the best owner of all the pro-sports.

Cuban is the shit! Say what u want but the guy has won a championship and is a great owner of the Mavs.

Well, he is a bit of an ass. But that's besides the point. Plus, he often says many of the same things JQ public says...and the rest of the time, JQ Public doesn't really hear what he's saying anyway

Cuban is right how the media gets hung up on stupid crap like: a team or particular player "wanted it more", and they run with it like it's a legit talking point over x's and o's.

Not sure if we saw the same video between him and Skip then but Skip got owned on national TV. He got exposed for being "entertainer" instead of doing his job and watching film like a good sports journalist probably should. (that is if you are going to be commenting on it personally)

You don't know Skip, so you probably shouldn't make an assumption on him.

But whatever, all I'm saying is...it's unfortunate the show (partly due to Skip's own doing) leads people to think Skip has no idea what he's talking about. I 100% guarantee you the conversation they had off-camera was totally different

I speak of Skip's on camera persona, not his off camera one. I don't know Skip so I'm not speaking of his actual knowledge in general. However, once he's in front of the camera, he turns into a clueless twit and makes comments about stuff he really doesn't know or understand, to which Cuban pointed out. I have mad respect for journalist that study film of the games they are commenting on and know what's going on before they comment on it.

edit: I don't doubt for a second their off-camera exchange was much much different.

Why would he do that to himself though? Hard to imagine a good journalist selling out on being the hated guy, just so he can be famous? (or that is what is appears)

He's always been that way. Maybe that's what he thrives on? I don't really know. Sometimes you just have to go where you're put. There are a lot of people who are probably in the wrong spot on-air at ESPN, but such is life everywhere.
