| Re: Howard Stern Sirius Debut How do those boom boxes work? Do you have to hook it up to an antenna indoors or something? If I were to break down and get sirius, I would want the plug and play one that I can listen to at work too. Otherwise it's not worth it to me. |

Whatever unit you get, test it by using the free channel that they beam to every radio. See if it not only gets a good signal, but holds the signal with minimal disruption. Then activate it if everything is fine. If not, take the unit back. I had the Starmate 1 and it couldn't hold a signal, but I got the Starmate Replay and everything works great. | |

| Re: Howard Stern Sirius Debut I heard about Stern possibly becoming available via streaming over the net, I think I'll wait until that becomes a reality. |

| Re: Howard Stern Sirius Debut Here at work, I'm stuck in a damn windowless cube, so I can't use my unit here, so I stream online. At home, I usually stream as well, since I'm too lazy to go back to the car and get the unit. I had to station my antenna outside in order to get a decent reception, because of the way my condo faces. I believe they are trying to build a dedicated stream just for Howard 100 and 101, because their current system probably isn't capable of the volume necessary to accomodiate all the new subscribers. http://www.sirius.com/pdf/manuals/sportster_boombox.pdf Usage manual for the sportster boombox.

| Re: Howard Stern Sirius Debut I have the boom box. It's ok, no problems. The hardwire antennae thing sucks. I was told that a wireless antennae existed for the units. However, I have been unable to locate one. i think I was bamboozled? Any info on the wireless?

| Re: Howard Stern Sirius Debut yeah, Bubba the Love Sponge mentioned that they got a huge number phone calls on Monday, and 1 million unique hits to the website, most complaining that they could not stream Howard... not heard about the wireless antenna...this is all i found: http://archive.avsforum.com/avs-vb/h.../420926-1.html that would be nice though...or even a wireless antenna for the car.
