No more Men in Tights

I was just watching ESPN, and they were saying that NBA has banned tights, like the ones that Kobe wears, and alot of other players. A majority of players wear it bc the courts are very cold, and it keeps their feet warm, but has become somewhat of a fashion statement. Stern, being the manaic he is, has banned them bc of that. I think its very stupid, and I hate how the NBA is going with the dress code and now this. And I also just realized that this should prob be in the off topic section, if a mod could change it that would be great.

still allowed for medical reasons i believe... its easy to get a doctor's note.

What medical reasons like crotch rot. There is no evidence based medicine that supports tights for anything but lower extremity edema, or venous insufficiency, neither of which are problems for guys who jump like fleas.

i have no idea, but i'm sure for $10,000 some doctor will figure it out.

what doctor wouldn't be willing to do a little favor for one of his highest profile clients? Honestly though, it sucks what david stern is doing to the nba. He needs to allow them to wear what they want to wear. I think the whole dress policy thing is gay, and this is too. He's putting too many restrictions on the game.

supposedly they help keep the blood circulating and cut down on the leg muscles tightening up and getting sore especially after an injury. don't know how much truth is in that reasoning but who cares. all of these leagues r going insane with making sure the players socks match and are all the exact length and thread count.

image is everything to Main Steam America.....but we all know that since the NBA is 90% Blk, it was build off the Hip Hop Nation,....that its just a way of trying to please.....the uppidy people.......just brucrap bullshit..... there even trying to adjust the game,....so players like Morrison and Reddick can last in the league (not)...Ten Years ago I said the league will be made up of mostly Blk Athlete's.....so there will never be a team with 5 white players.......ever, and the NBA and David Stern is trying to make this league comfortable for those american's................Blah, Blah, Blah..... **** Stern and his bullshit rules....because there is no more Larry Birds in the league and never will be.....
