bad people manipulate the system to benifit themselves. Your example is on an individual scale, where the guy lived off unemployment. Just think about if a company(say walmart) did something like this to a different program or program(say wellfare medicare and other programs) on a larger scale where they pay their employees low enough wages that they can apply for these programs. We are basically paying taxes for walmart to pay their employees less so the gov't will be forced to provide medical insurance food stamps and other stuff so they can survive. Like you said we are giving a free ride to some cheap f's in walmart. There will always be lazy people and people who try to manipulate the system, but no one manipulates the system like that top 1%. Why do you think so many rich people have accountants?

o and to the other guy sure documentaries aren't always all facts, that's why they provide places you can go to check their information. You'd be surprised that ur fox news might not be as accurate as some of the documentaries. You always have to take into account the spin/bias so look past that and look at the facts.

i guess i wasn't too clear i was trying to paint a picture and keep it simple without listing every program since it also includes programs which i can't remember their names but for parents helping raise kids.

its funny that walmart began as a US brand made company. Now, all their factories are overseas in sweatshops paying ppl pennies. o the american dream...its like slavery but legal cuz its not in the US and its taking jobs away from americans cuz they'd be getting paid more

well, you can't stop globalization. australia tried it and it almost completely destroyed their economy (the cheapest pairs of jeans cost $40-60 USD etc). people just couldn't afford as much as they used to be able to buy, so they had to backtrack completely in that area.

its hard to rely on people to make the world a better place and not manipulate to make an insane amt of money that you'll never be able to spend in a lifetime so your grandchildren will inherit billions and never have to work a day in their life.
