| Preseason Rankings The USA today preseason rankings came out today... 1. ohio state 2. texas 3(t) notre dame 3(t) usc 5. oklahoma 6. auburn 7. west virginia 8. florida 9. lsu 10. florida state Note: these ballots were turned in before oklahoma's starting QB Rhett Bomar and Tackle Quinn were dismissed from the team USATODAY.com - Breaking down the Top 25 teams

| Re: Preseason Rankings Notre Dame has a tough schedule, however they are fortunate enough to play Penn State, Michigan, Purdue, Stanford and UCLA at home. USC and Michigan State away. Ohio State has both Penn State and Michigan at home, and doesn't play Notre Dame. This could be #1 vs. #2.
