| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down What a punkass, stepping down because the writing is on the wall with the democrats taking control. Talk about 'cut and run'. There's something really satisfying about seeing the Republicans sweating today. |

| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down No shit, That kind of suprises me. I'm curious is to why It wasn't sooner... Theres going to be some major policy changes coming. It kind of makes me nervous... I really think this war issue needs to be taken seriously, and not influenced by the fickle public opinion. Kind of worries me.

| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down The morons on the Hill, as well as Dubya's buddy who's taking over for Rummy, all know that the worst thing we can do is pull directly out of Iraq. At least I hope so...

| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down One ot eh guys I was tailgating with on Sunday just got home from Iraq. He'd been there most recently as a civilian contractor, but he was also previously there with the USMC. He said he can't imagine the US pulling out for a few decades and he said that the military is currently building at least 3 permanent bases in Iraq.

| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down Can anyone name a Politician who looks after the 'common, ordinary folk'. Sadly the whole political scene seems to poison the people involved. Am I just that cynical? |

| Re: Rumsfeld stepping down No, that seems about the jist of it. It's like I always feel the people are involved only for personal gain anyway.
